Our collections span Adventure, Apparel, Architecture, Aromatic, Artwork, Avenues, Bath & Grooming, Books & Bags, and other carefully curated categories. 2. Product Information & Characteristics

Our products are often unique, handcrafted, or sourced in small batches. This means:

• Natural Variations: Wood grains, fabric dyes, and hand-finishing may result in slight variations, which we consider part of an item’s character and charm.
• Artisan Collaboration: Many items are created by or in collaboration with specific artisans (e.g., By Adam Trest, By Erin Napier), celebrating individual creativity.
• Accurate Representation: We strive to display products and describe them as accurately as possible through photographs and descriptions. If you have specific questions, please contact us before purchasing.

3. Orders & Payment Terms

3.1 Placing an Order

Adding an item to your cart is an invitation to treat. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel any order before shipment, at our discretion.

3.2 Payment Methods

We accept secure payments via VISA, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Payment is processed at the time of order. You confirm that the payment method you use is yours or that you have authorization to use it.

3.3 Pricing & Availability

All prices are listed in US Dollars. While we aim to ensure all prices and inventory are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in price or availability after you place an order, we will notify you and either cancel the order or offer you the option to confirm at the correct price.

4. Shipping & Delivery

4.1 Processing & Shipping Methods

• Order Processing: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends/holidays) after payment confirmation.
• Shipping Options:
  • Standard Shipping ($12.95): Via DHL or FedEx. Delivery typically occurs within 10-15 business days after dispatch. Trackable.
  • Free Shipping (Orders over $50): Via EMS. Delivery typically occurs within 15-25 business days after dispatch. Trackable.

Delivery times are estimates. Delays due to customs, weather, or carrier logistics are possible and beyond our control.

4.2 Shipping Destinations

We ship globally but are currently unable to deliver to some parts of Asia and a few remote regions. You are responsible for ensuring your shipping address is correct and complete. We are not liable for packages lost due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

4.3 Import Duties & Taxes

For international orders, you, the customer, are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees. These are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

5.1 Our Promise

We stand behind our products. If you are not satisfied, you may initiate a return or exchange within 15 days of the date you receive your item.

5.2 Conditions for Return/Exchange

• Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
• The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method used.

5.3 Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

For health, safety, and personal nature reasons, the following cannot be returned or exchanged:

• All Aromatic & Personal Care Items (Candles, Bath & Grooming, Aromatic categories).
• Any Personalized, Custom-Made, or Monogrammed item.
• Any item explicitly marked as “Final Sale” at purchase.

5.4 The Return Process

1. Initiate Request: Email [email protected] within 15 days of delivery with your order number and item details.
2. Receive Instructions: We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a return address.
3. Ship Item Back: Securely package the item with the RMA number visible. Use a trackable service for your protection.
4. Inspection & Resolution: Upon receipt and inspection, we will process your refund or exchange. Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account after processing.

6. User Obligations & Conduct

By using our site, you agree:

• To provide accurate, current, and complete information during checkout.
• Not to use the site for any unlawful purpose or to engage in any activity that interferes with the site’s operation.
• That you are of legal age to form a binding contract or have consent from a parent/guardian.

Laurel Mercantile Store and its artisans will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any products purchased, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the purchase price of that product.

We carefully inspect all items before shipment. If you receive a damaged or defective item, you must contact us immediately at [email protected] to arrange a resolution.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
